As I understood, this issue is not only related to Huawei phones this method will also be useful for Samsung and other brands, when it comes to sync with Garmin connect. If you have any other solutions or at least explanation, why my idea works, just let me know in comments. I tried to post this on official Garmin forum, but it seems they have some database issues, so I hope Google will index my post and will advance it to its results. Hope this will help someone to save some time struggling to make Garmin watches work with Huawei phones. I won’t even tell you about numerous software re-installations and factory resets of the watch. I have tried various solutions: this one and also this – none of them helped. If you have removed updates, it’s time to get them back to most recent version. Start Google Play Services and have fun with your watch. Tap the device name and try pairing it as usual (your watch will show the code and you will be able to input it).Ħ. You should see the synced device there.ĥ. Open Garmin Connect Mobile, skip initial setup and go to Garmin Devices. If you don’t know where to do this, go to Settings->Applications->Google Play Services->Stop.Ĥ. ![]() :) If stopping does not help, remove Google Play Services update, as it seems that only most recent versions interfere with pairing process. To do so, simply search for and open ANT Agent. If you'd like to connect your devices via ANT Agent, you'll have to manually turn it back on. Turning ANT Agent or Express back onĪNT Agent will remain off even after you exit out of TR. TrainerRoad should be able to grab the ANT+ signal before Garmin Express does. To fix this, open the TrainerRoad app and take the dongle out and plug it back in. Garmin Express takes a hold of your ANT+ and won't allow TrainerRoad to find the ANT+ stick. Quit the program before using TrainerRoad. If what you see matches the above screenshot, ANT Agent is running. This will allow you to see if the program is running. Turning off Garmin ANT Agent (PC)įrom the Task-bar, right click on Garmin Express and click Exit. If TrainerRoad doesn't automatically disable ANT Agent or Express, you can manually turn it off.
